'Samson Mordan' was the maker of this delightful Silver Perfume Phial.

Hallmarks are inside the lid and on the base.  London 1882

There is a  vacant cartouche to the top of the lid, and the phial is covered in embossed scrolls. The inside of the hinged lid has a gilt coating.
