Georgian Silver Salver by one of Englands most famous and sought after silversmiths - Ebenezer Coker.
This silver salver with raised piecrust border and cabriole supports (crested) is fully hallmarked with a remarkably pristine set of stamps which are situated on the reverse side.
This beautiful, large, heavy, well balanced and strongly made piece of english silver history would enhance any collection or make any owner proud.
At the centre of the salver is a heraldic device of a fire breathing dragons head.
Hallmarks - Crowned Leopards head for London. Date letter for the year '1759'. The Lion-Passant - indicating sterling silver. The initials 'E.C' - the makers mark for 'Ebenezer Coker'.
