Georgian Silver Sugar Nips by Hester Bateman. London 1774-1779*

Hallmarks consist of the Georgian Head, the Lion Passant, and the makers mark of 'Hester Bateman';  there is no date letter or town mark.

length - 13.5cm (5.1/4").

*Hester Bateman registered her mark in 1774 after the death of her husband, to continue the family business.  Her mark has not been found on any silver item after 1779.
