These very unusual Silver Victorian Grape Scissors  are in beautiful condition, and in their original sumptious case. They are of an exceptionally rare design.

The English hallmarks denote that they were assayed at Birmingham in 1890. The maker-'Hilliard & Thomason'.

Hallmarks are all beautifully crisp and clear on both handles of the scissors, and a further mark on the central pivot block.  There is also a registration number - 36510.

This highly delightful pair of grape scissors are also in perfect working order.  There is no loose sideways movement between the two scissor sections, and of couse they cut beautifully.
